Just some information on an on-line course that is available for Safeguarding Children in Sport.
Not something that we like to think about, or think would happen within our sport, but the information is here for anyone that would like to read it and look at the course.
The course is online and doesn't actually take that long to do (I have done it) and costs $30.00.
This course is for anyone who works professionally or volunteers with children and young people in sport. It is essential for all national, regional and local level organisations and clubs, from international to grassroots.
Through Child Protection in Sport you will learn what you can do to help create a safe organisation. You will gain the knowledge and skills to identify, respond and report child abuse and neglect. Play your part in making a difference for our children and young people.
On completion of the course, participants receive a certificate to evidence continuing professional development.
