Counties Polocrosse has a very important notice for everyone travelling to the Abderry grounds for Association champs.

Unfortunately there are major roadwork diverts in place on route to Glenbrook Road, and the diverts signage is VERY POOR. Even locals have struggled getting to the Abderry grounds. Google Maps has a bad reputation for this area so we recommend these directions over GPS. Whether coming from north or south, it's important that travellers take these directions:


1. DO NOT TAKE YOUR USUAL EXIT -- take exit 458 towards Papakura

2. COMING FROM NORTH, use the right two lanes to turn right onto Beach Road (signs for Karaka/Kingseat) and follow onto Hingaia Road. COMING FROM SOUTH, turn left onto Hingaia Road (signs for Karaka/Kingseat)

3. After 9 kilometers, turn left onto Charles Road

4. After 4.5 kilometers turn right onto Glenbrook Road, which takes you to the Abderry grounds as usual


Please can a member of each association take the time to ensure this message has reached all travelling members; with horses on board and a long journey from home, these directions will save a lot of frustration and lost time. We want every player, horse, and spectator to have the best start to the New Zealand Polocrosse National Championships!
