Dear Sir or Madam,
Does your school have sports teams, clubs & voluntary groups that need help getting better organised? Most do.
Are your coaches and event organisers under too much pressure? Many are.
I am the Chair of the Board of Trustees of my local primary school, and I understand some of the problems facing voluntary groups and their organisers:
- Busy parents & busy school staff.
- The effort involved in organising and communicating with a group of people.
- The last minute phone calls asking where the game is being held this week.
I believe that if you give people the tools to do the job, and they will get the job done. The new service teamyell aims to be a tool that helps school-based groups get better organised.
teamyell supports sports teams, clubs & voluntary groups. teamyell is an online service that helps small groups organise themselves better. The service is free to join and free to use - forever. You and your teams can try it out at www.teamyell.co.nz.
teamyell keeps track of:
- Upcoming events – When & where they are (including maps showing how to get there!)
- People – Their contact details & how they prefer to be communicated with.
- Rosters – Who is needed at which events. People can confirm whether they can or can’t attend online. Coaches can see at a glance who has confirmed and who hasn’t.
- Reminders – teamyell can automatically remind people they are needed before events by email (for free) &/or text message (at 20c per message) improving attendance rates.
There are many more benefits. For more information click here.
To create a group, go to www.teamyell.co.nz and click on the “Create your team now” link.
I personally belong to a group which is using teamyell to get better organised. I hope you find this service as useful as my group does.
Regards
