On Sunday 27th January the NZ Junior Team came up against The DOMHEALTH Presidents Invitation Team at Lachie Duncan’s property at Piarere Waikato.

The NZ team had some last minute changes due to injury to Danielle Looby and  Jarrod Pollock.

The game was electric from start to finish with both teams determined to win and the score sheet testament to the fact. Some good goals from the No 1 players and strong defence from the No 3’s kept the crowd thrilled and entertained.
In the final chukka with the score at 11 all, and only minutes left on the clock , a few quick snatches  and good marking up by the No 2’s set  the Domhealth Invitation team  to victory with a final score of  13 – 11.

The NZ Juniors were coached by Rick Murray and the Domhealth Presidents Invitation team were coached by Errol Gloyn.

The Game to be aired on Maori TV

Once again  we were able to attract Maori TV to view the entire game of the NZ Juniors vs the Domhealth Presidents Invitation team. Highlight from the game and interviews with Taumai Duff, Carey Cornelius and Harry Kirk will feature on Te Kaea on Monday Tuesday or Wednesday of this week at 7.30pm.
